Children’s Ministries
At St. Paul, many
opportunities await all God’s children including educational programming,
mission projects, fellowship time, choirs, hand bells, special events, play
groups, and many other rewarding experiences.

Children’s
Sunday School – 9:45 a.m.
Sunday
School is taught by a group of warm, loving, and enthusiastic teachers.
Our goal is to provide lessons at each appropriate age level in order to help
children develop a respect, love, and understanding of the Bible.
Birth through two years
learn
through stories, songs, art activities, and many other age appropriate learning
experiences.

The
pre-school aged children
participate in the Cokesbury curriculum, Exploring Faith, as a base.
Exploring Faith provides lessons
covering age appropriate stories from both Testaments which are paired with
carefully selected learning activities and projects.
Kindergarten through Fifth grade
participate
in an innovative rotation model. We use the Power
Xpress curriculum from Cokesbury. The
lessons are based on a five week rotation. Each of the five weeks various
lessons are based on the same Bible story or concept. Each week, the children
attend a different area such as storytelling/singing, cooking, art, dramatic
play, and media. The children enjoy the transition throughout the lessons and
are gaining a more concrete understanding of each rotational study.
Childcare
and Nursery
Childcare is available for
infants through three years old during both worship services, the Sunday School
hour, Wednesday evenings, and special church activities. The newly renovated
nursery rooms are staffed with loving, enthusiastic, and caring individuals.
Sonshine
Chapel
We are very proud to offer a
Children’s Church during the late worship service.
Sonshine Chapel provides the children ages four years through third
grade an opportunity to learn about worship within their own
little church environment.
Wednesday
Evening Family Program
Each Wednesday, we have
several opportunities available to children. The whole church shares a
fellowship meal in the Wesley Friendship Hall at 5:45 p.m. Beginning at 6:30
p.m., the children and adults break out into various sessions.
