Courage to Grow Campaign
In 1998, St
Paul began to look at its future and began to ask some serious questions. From
this dialogue, came a list of these of things which were needed to make the
facilities more appealing, more accessible, and safer.
St. Paul voted
to
▪ Retire
the current debt
▪ Build
an elevator
▪ Build
an attractive, safe playground
▪
Establish and equip a permanent youth area
▪
Construct a well-lit, landscaped parking lot and remove the old activity
building
▪
Renovate the sanctuary
▪ Create
a permanent maintenance fund
To achieve
these goals, a capital funds campaign was embarked on in October 2002. The goal
was to raise $1.5 million. Of that, $1.2 million was pledged. To date, of that
$1.2 million, $1.08 million has been given.
St. Paul
continues to look to the future with the courage to grow into that future.
